Getting started

First, choose the type of game you want, by pressing the letter of the
requested menu (or a function key ranging from F1 to F4), or clicking on
the menu you want with left or right button. Then, just highlight the game
you want by pressing the Up/Down keys (You can go from one menu to another by
pressing the Right/Left keys) or clicking on the name of the game.
A description of what are the effects of the patch is written under the option
window.

Note : Clicking on the name of a game will not only highlight the name, but it
       will select it too.

Selecting a file

If you use the keyboard, once the requested game is marked, press [Enter]
and follow the instructions displayed in the next window ("Select your saved
game").

For instance, if you selected "Lands Of Lore" in the "Role/Adve. Games"
menu and if you are in the root directory, select the "_SAVE035.DAT" file
in the "C:\LANDS" directory, where "_SAVE035.DAT" is the name of the
Lands Of Lore saved game you want to patch.

You can use the Up/Down/PgUp/Pgdn/Home/End keys to move through the menu.
You can also use the two little arrows at the right of the window, it will
enable you to go up and down in the file list. The directories are displayed
in high video. Pressing [ENTER] on a directory name, enables you to change
the current path to the one you selected.

For exemple : if you were in the "C:\TOONS" directory and if you have selected
the "SAVES" directory name (written in white in the menu), then you are now in
the "C:\TOONS\SAVES" directory (the current directory is displayed in the
window at the bottom of the screen).

Nota : You should follow the instructions of the Advice window if it is
       displayed.

Lauching Ucheat Screen Saver

UCheat Screen Saver will automatically be launched after one minute of
inactivity. The screen will then be cleared and a small message will navigate
reminding you that UCheat Screen Saver is in action. Just press a key, or
click with the mouse to return to your UCheat session.

Note : The pressed key will not be taken into account (quite a safe thing).

Exiting UCheat

If you just want to do a few things under DOS environment and go back to
UCheat after, you can select the "Dos Shell" item in the "Main" menu. When
the prompt appeared, you can do what you want (insofar as there's enough
available memory).
Else select the "Quit" option in the "Main" menu to totally exit UCheat...

                                                     Thanks for using Ucheat.
