FEDZ: A Short Little Shpiel
An AUFhEBEN Publication

FEDZ is a text file series that aims to bringing news about federal
acts that border on un-Constitutional, anti-freedom and detrimental
to privacy and moral integrity. While it is intuitive that whether
these acts really do meet these criterion is a subject for debate.
However, FEDZ serves only as a reporting mechanism, to bring these
stories to you.

Obviously, what you read hear should not be construed as fact. Most
of it is brought to you through other users just like you. In all
cases, FEDZ will do its best to maintain the truth in all aspects
and not taint *any* story. However, this is not a perfect world and
neither is FEDZ.

If you are reading this, it can be pretty assured that you are doing
so electronically and thus are a part of the telecom world community.
I personally believe that it is in your interest to spread these
files, discuss the issues contained within them, and whatnot.

 HOW CAN YOU HELP FEDZ?

1. There are so many nets out there that link together bulletin boards.
If you run a net, why not establish a FEDZ message base? This base
could serve as a discussion base for issues brought up in the FEDZ
   text file series.

2. Courier! If you would like to be an *official* courier, contact
FEDZ through the Internet address below. If not, then just spread
these files. Aside from download credit, you'll also be contributing
   to a very worthy cause.

3. Support! If you run a bulletin board, establish a file sig for FEDZ.
If you are interested in becoming an *official* distribution site,
contact FEDZ at the address below.

4. Contribute! FEDZ is always looking for articles from your local
newspaper, or rarely-seen publications, or just your own personal
experience. Usually, up-to-date information is essential (we don't
want to read about you getting busted in 1984 unless there is
some unique aspect to your story).

5. Offer FTP support. If you run or have access to an FTP site, see if
you could set up a FEDZ directory. If so, make sure and let us
know. After all, might as well be an *official* FEDZ ftp site, huh?
